Engineering Competences
Lo-Q's hardware, software and system engineers, based in Henley, are highly skilled in the following areas: RF circuit design; microprocessor system design; embedded software; communication protocols and error correction; all types of data networks; location based services, and windows based software in the areas of scheduling, access control; messaging and communications. We design our Windows software using C# .Net. The software consists of a central server system and numerous remote clients to handle rentals, operations, and management. The server consists of a number of Windows services driving modules for ride and show scheduling, Q-bot rental, Q-bot inventory management and Q-bot communication.
What's next
Our technology is continually moving forward as we strive to drive down the cost of getting people out of queue lines. We are expert at low cost data radio solutions and some of our hardware and software can be applied to many applications outside our client base.

Lo-Q has joined the Irisys iConnect Partner Program as an Approved Solutions Partner focusing on delivering queue management solutions to the Theme Park industry.
InfraRed Integrated Systems Ltd, (IRISYS) specializes in the development and manufacture of intelligent infra-red detectors and are recognised as the world’s leading manufacturer of people counting technology.
Lo-Q has an agreement with Bartronics (previously Proximities Inc.) of Florida, USA, that will add RFID wristbands to Lo-Q's product offering.
The relationship established with Bartronics will allow Lo-Q to expand its product offerings into markets where a less sophisticated or lower cost queuing device is more appropriate. This could include applications where cashless
payments, locker access and other similar features are required.
